electric four-ring hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine,
microwave and a full range of fitted cupboards. It is fully supplied
with kitchen equipment, crockery, glasses and cutlery.

- The ground floor living/sitting area (22 sq.m
approx.) has a sofa bed, coffee tables, desk, lounge and Lloyd loom
chairs and TV with UK satellite connection.
- The second floor terrace (30 sq.m approx.)
is equipped with built-in barbecue, external lighting
and a cuisine dete (simple cooking facilities with a fridge).

- Marseillan-Ville (Languedoc) is situated at
the western end of the Bassin de Thau, a salt water lagoon separated from
the Mediterranean by an 18 kilometre long flat sandy beach. With around
6000 permanent residents, the town has a weekly market (Tuesday) as well as
the full range of essential services.

- The port has developed into a centre for sailing
and wind-surfing, aided by the construction of a port de plaisance
by the western entrance of the original Quai. The port also hosts
larger motor vessels which use the Canal du Midi as a holiday route
and destination.

- Marseillan has more than a dozen restaurants
of every standard including two (Chez Philippe & La Table dEmily)
mentioned in the Red Michelin Guide. Locally cultivated oysters and
mussels are freely available and with Marseillan as the home to the
caves of Noilly Prat and a number of good local wines its a
favourite for lovers of the best of authentic regional cuisine.

- Marseillan and the Languedoc have an exceptionally
mild climate with nearly 2700 hours of sunshine annually. The average
temperature in the shade in July and August is around 23 degrees Centigrade,
with between 315 and 316 hours of sunshine in each of those two months.

the yellow area of Centre Ville. The Port de Plaisance
is just to the right of the house, between Quai Antonin Gros and Quai
de la Resistance. The edge of the Bassin de Thau is shown in blue.
- Blvd. Jean Bertouy is a wide road which leads
directly from the old town to the Bassin 150 metres away, and is just
75 metres behind Quai Antonin Gros and the yacht harbour.

- Either from Le Havre, to Paris on A13, skirt
round via Versailles, pick up A6 to Lyon, onto the A7 and then A9 from
Orange and exit at junction 34
through St Thibery, then Florensac to Marseillan.

- Alternatively take the N154 from Rouen and
pick up the A10 before Orleans, the A71 to Clermont-Ferrand and the
A75 through the Massif Central. Exit at junction 59 SP Montagnac &
Marseillan.

security deposit of £100 which is not banked provided there is
no damage, paid eight weeks before your booked arrival date. All
cheques are to be made out to AFS.
Your security deposit will be returned, less any charges, within two
weeks of your departure.

- We ask guests to arrive at the Agents after 4.00 pm
and preferably before 6.00pm on check-in
Saturday and to leave by 10.00am on check-out Saturday.
Our quoted prices include sufficient sets
of sheets and towels for your stay, but please advise us of the number
of guests in order that adequate linen can be provided. The price also
includes cleaning, so that the house will be ready and cleaned when you
arrive and will be cleaned after you leave. |
